Based on customer feedback, we've made things easier by providing several ways to manage Deep Freeze deployments in any enterprise setting. Command Line Control (DFC) The Deep Freeze Command Line Control (DFC) offers network administrators increased flexibility in managing Deep Freeze workstations. DFC works in combination with third-party enterprise management tools and/or central management solutions. This combination allows administrators to update workstations on demand. (+) It is important to note that DFC is not a stand-alone application. DFC integrates seamlessly with any solution that can run script files, including standard run-once login scripts. Some of DFC’s commands include: - Restart workstation in a FrozThawed state
- Set workstation to restart FrozThawed the next time it restarts
- Query workstation Deep Freeze state
- Enable/Disable the workstation keyboard and mouse

Apple Remote Desktop Apple Remote Desktop allows you to manage all of your Mac computers over your network. Distribute software, provide real-time online help to end users, create detailed software and hardware reports, and automate routine management tasks — all from the comfort of your desk. (+) Our Deep Freeze Assistant can install tasks for use with Apple Remote Desktop. They appear in their own Deep Freeze folder on the ARD sidebar. These tasks can be used as supplied or as a starting point for controlling Deep Freeze with ARD. Each task mirrors a Deep Freeze Controller command, although you can also remotely request the Deep Freeze status from any Mac via ARD. LANDesk LANDesk Management Suite is a desktop management system that lets IT staff automate systems and security management tasks from a single console. Administrators can proactively manage, update, and protect all desktops, servers, and mobile devices. (+) The Deep Freeze Plug-in gives administrators the ability to activate scheduled tasks, manage computers with multi-level user defined groups, and improve process updates while preserving and protecting the productivity of PC and Mac workstations. The partnering between Deep Freeze and LANDesk provides administrators with an efficient and central way to manage Deep Freeze tasks from within the LANDesk Console. Novell ConsoleOne with ZENWorks 7 Novell ConsoleOne allows IT administrators to easily manage and monitor enterprise computer deployments—the Deep Freeze Snap-In for Novell ConsoleOne provides IT personnel with the option to manage their Deep Freeze deployment through a centralized tool that thousands of network administrators are already familiar with. Deep Freeze tasks can be created and executed immediately or scheduled for a future date. (+) Each workstation featuring Deep Freeze must have the Snap-in Workstation Agent installed manually or deployed via ConsoleOne. The Snap-in Scheduler can be installed and run on any of the three following three systems: Windows, NetWare and Linux SLED. The Deep Freeze Snap-in for Novell ConsoleOne supports the typical deployment scenario for Novell users. The Deep Freeze Snap-in for Novell ConsoleOne can be installed and run with ConsoleOne which is installed on the NetWare server. It can also be deployed to a Windows system with ConsoleOne installed. It is recommended that the components of the Deep Freeze Snap-in for Novell ConsoleOne be installed in following order: - ConsoleOne Snap-in

Deep Freeze can easily be managed from the Symantec Ghost Console through the use of the Deep Freeze Command Line Control (DFC).
